How do I mail in deposits? What address should I use?
It's easy to bank by mail. Endorse checks by writing your signature, your account number and "For Deposit Only" in the endorsement area on the back of each check to be deposited, then place your non-cash deposit in the mail to one of our branch locations or to the main bank at the following address.

What do I need to bring with me in order to open an account?
Opening an account at Lyons Federal Bank is simple. You only need to bring your valid driver’s license or other government issued photo ID and your social security number. If you plan on setting up a Trust, Conservatorship, or Representative Payee account, be sure to bring those documents with you as well.
Do I have to have a checking account at Lyons Federal Bank to apply for a loan?

Is it better to use a debit card than to write a check?

What if a debit card transaction clears my account that I have not authorized?
If there is a phone number listed with the transaction, you should first try to contact the company directly. If there is not a phone number, you can contact Lyons Federal bank to see if more information is available that would help you get in touch with the company. If you are unsuccessful in contacting the company Lyons Federal can help you fill out the proper paperwork to dispute the transaction. However, it is a requirement that you write a letter to us that contains the following information in order for us to refund the fraudulent charges.
- The 16 Digit Card Number
- The Merchant’s Name
- The Transaction Dates & Amounts
- Detailed Description Of The Dispute (i.e. I did not authorize this charge)
- The Card Has Been In My Possession At All Times
- Sign & Date The Letter

How do I set up direct deposit?
Provide the following information to your employer's payroll processor or the financial service department for your employer:

How do I activate my Master Money® debit card? How do I find out my PIN?
To activate your card and set your PIN, you will need to call the phone number located on the sticker that is on your debit card when you receive it.
*Important – NEVER give your PIN to anyone. Lyons Federal Bank does not have access to your PIN and cannot look up the number for you.
** If you are using an ATM Card no activation is required.
What do I do if I have forgotten my PIN, or do not know my PIN for my card?
Contact Lyons Federal Bank for assistance in obtaining your new PIN number.
My Debit card will expire soon. When will my new card be sent to me?
Your new card will be mailed to your address of record before your current card expires.
My current card is damaged. How can I request a replacement card?

How much can I purchase each day with my Lyons Federal Bank Master Money debit card?
Your debit card works just like a check and draws directly against your checking account. You can withdraw up to $500 per business day in purchases using your debit card if your account balance is adequate.
How much can I withdraw from an ATM using my debit card or ATM card?
The daily ATM withdrawal limit on your Master Money Debit Card is separate from the purchase limit. The daily ATM withdrawal limit using your ATM card is $200. The daily ATM withdrawal limit using your Debit Card is $500.
What do I do if my purse or wallet has been lost or stolen?
Notify law enforcement immediately if your purse or wallet has been lost or stolen. You should also call our Lyons Federal Bank at (620) 257-2316 to block all lost or stolen cards, checks, and account information. Watch your account closely and notify us of any discrepancies. In most cases, your account will need to be closed and a new account opened in its place. For assistance with blocking debit cards after business hours, call 1-800-554-8969.
Should I contact Lyons Federal Bank if I will be traveling and expect to use my Debit Card?
Yes, we would appreciate it if you would contact us at the main bank location (620) 257-2316 or toll-free at (877) 657-2316 if you will be traveling with your Debit Card. This will prevent your card from being temporarily blocked if our fraud monitoring software detects suspicious transactions due to traveling.
